What team will my child be on?
For baseball and softball, the most recently completed grade of school is the team your child will be placed on.

How can I be a coach?
Please fill this out at the time of registration on the online form.

Why haven't we started practice yet and I see other kids practicing?
There are many volunteer coaches across grade levels and each individual coach will communicate with each family.  If you haven't heard from your coach by April 1st, please reach out to [email protected]

Why are some High School age girls playing and not others?
The WIAA has specific rules about 9th grade girls playing with a recreation league.  Although they may play, they may not be on a currently active High School team.

Where is the field? 
There are two fields, Veteran's Park and Dirkse Park.  Addresses are located on the home page.

 What day does my child play in their fundamental league?
Girls who have finished grades 1-2 will play on Mondays
Boys who have finished grades 1-2 will play on Tuesdays
Boys and Girls who have completed Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten will play on Wednesdays.

Where are practices held and games played?
‍Practices are at the high school football practice field. Games are played at Oostburg High School, Kohler, Random Lake, Howards Grove, Plymouth, Port Washington, and Ozaukee

‍When is registration?
‍August 1

Who can play in the Oostburg Youth Football program?
‍The Oostburg Youth Football program is open to all fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students in the Oostburg Area. Students who are homeschooled, attend Public or Private school and all others in the Oostburg area are welcome!!

What will they learn?
‍They will learn how to block, tackle correctly, carry a football, run pass patterns, running plays, pass rush techniques, stances, teamwork, cadence, discipline, etc.

How much does it cost?

Are their any equipment requirements not provided by the Oostburg Youth Football program?
‍All players need mouth guards that attach to the face mask and CAN NOT be 100% white or clear and should have football cleats.

How many games are played?
Eight with possibility of more.

Does every kid get a chance to play?
Providing that they have not missed practice and their grades are good, everything will be done to ensure equal playing time for every player.
